Halloween is one of the most enchanting times of the year, and what could be more fun than crafting with your children to transform your house into a spooky environment? In this blog we share eight creative craft ideas for Halloween. Whether you like scary spiders, are enchanted by pumpkins or just love spooky ghosts, we have something for everyone.
- Cheerful pumpkin made of wool
You can make very beautiful pumpkins from wool pumpkins and that is of course a super fun Halloween decoration. Wind a brown chenille wire around the pumpkin (can be purchased in the store). Fun & Party shop) and thread a green leaf onto it. Cut the pumpkin's face out of black paper and stick it to the wool with a little glue.
- Stamping ghosts with potatoes
You can stamp creepy, fun ghosts with potatoes. All you have to do is cut the potato in half. Then you dip it in white paint and make a nice print on a black sheet of paper. You can give the ghosts a face with black paint and a brush. And it's fun to paint some eyes on your sheet of paper and possibly stick some stars on it. A super fun Halloween work of art to make.
- Paper spider craft for Halloween
This paper spider is a fun Halloween decoration to make for your home. Cut 8 narrow strips from black paper and one thick strip. In the middle of the wide strip, stick 4 narrow strips on both sides. Then make a circle from the wide strip and glue the ends together. Fold the legs into the correct shape and give the spider a face with two googly eyes and sharp teeth made of white paper. If you string a transparent thread onto the spider, you can hang it in the window frame.
- Cotton wool ghost crafts
The soft and sweet cotton wool ghost is a real Halloween toddler craft. This craft promotes the development of children's (fine) motor skills. This sweet ghost was easily made with a bag of cotton balls and a piece of cardboard.
- Halloween skeleton craft from paper
If you string all the paper rings together, it looks like a skeleton. You can make the head from a paper cake plate. And at the ends of the arms and legs, glue feet and hands made of paper. Nice to hang in the window frame.
- Bat crafts
You probably still have a toilet roll lying around for this amazing bat, right?! You make it by sticking a piece of black paper around the roll. Cut out a pair of wings and glue them to his back. And give your bat some googly eyes and teeth and you're done. If you attach two thin strips of paper to the bat, you can hang it upside down from a string or branch.
- Mandarin pumpkin
Aren't these too nice to take to school with your child for ten o'clock? It can be that simple to make something for Halloween. We probably don't need to explain how to make these tangerine squashes!
