After the successful fundraising campaign of thousands of diapers, buggies and school bags, we will be committed to charity again over the next two weeks.
The sun is already shining on Lesbos, you can safely leave out the happy feeling of the song. Lesbos is not going well. The day before yesterday, five overcrowded boats arrived again in 24 hours. It remains unbelievable, but once again the alarm was sounded during the big general Lesvos meeting.
The summer clothes are gone for these sweet children and their parents!!!!
DIt is clear that the camps suffer from extreme heat, without a cold shower, a rocket every now and then or an ice cube in your water. No, the harsh reality is long trousers, winter boots and your sweater and with temperatures above 35 degrees this is simply life-threatening.
So shorts, shirts and caps have to be taken to the island. And we go Because We Carry help with this.

The most important thing for us is that a package is complete and clean.
The Summer Carry Bags can be... June 18 to July 3 (on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) are handed in at our office in the Zuiderkerk at Zuiderkerkhof 72 (near the Nieuwmarkt).
If you do not have time to bring the bags to us, but you still want to help, you can also transfer a contribution to NL89 INGB0006432428 in the name of Amsternannies.
We then ensure that good clothing is bought with that money, so that we can fill complete summer bags.
