aAmsterdam is very big with many possibilities. There is so much to do that sometimes you just don't know what else there is to do. So if you don't know anymore or if you have too much choice stress, this blog is here to help you.
To start with, Amsterdam has more than 60 different museums. This makes Amsterdam the city with the highest museum density in the world. Of course, the first option is to go to museums with the little ones. There are a lot of child-friendly museums you can go to. If you have a museum card you will probably know this one. And if you don't have a museum card yet, you can order one via museum.nl. With this card you can visit more than 400 museums in the Netherlands unlimitedly for one year. This information probably will not help you experience less choice stress. That's why I'll put a museum in the spotlight. Namely the Tropenmuseum; this museum is about world cultures. It is very interesting to go here with the little ones so that they also learn what it is like in other cultures. This way they learn more about the world and how to respect other cultures. There are various activities to do in the tropical museum. Every Sunday (from July 9 to September 3) a delicious Surinamese dish is made during the cooking program. At the end of the workshop you will receive the recipe home and of course you can visit the exhibition afterwards. There are also fun tours that you can do through the museum with a guide or with the family. This museum is suitable for children from 6 years old. The entrance fees are €8 for children and €16 for adults.
If you want to enjoy the museums after the enormously fun and educational moments, you can relax at a few super nice restaurants. There are many child-friendly restaurants in Amsterdam. The Kleine Parade in Amsterdam is highly recommended. You can shop here for the little ones, you can get their hair cut and of course there is delicious food. While the busy people enjoy their meal, you can relax. There are many toys available that will keep the little ones entertained for a while.
Enjoyed your meal? Great, now you can continue exploring Amsterdam. There's only one way to do this right. You guessed it. It's by bike, of course! You can rent a bicycle in many places in Amsterdam. You can rent bicycles at 16 locations in Amsterdam via black-bikes.com. You can book this via the site and choose from different bicycles such as; children's bike, electric bike, cargo bike and more! Are you not into cycling? That is of course possible, then you can get a day ticket for public transport and travel around Amsterdam by tram, metro, bus or ferry!
Now you can go to other great locations by bike or by public transport. For example, do you love animals? Then you can go to Artis together. Artis always has a super fun daily schedule. Especially now in the summer they have the “Zoomer evenings”. The twentieth edition of the ARTIS Zoomer Evenings focuses on Planetary Health: a healthy future for the earth and all its inhabitants. During the ARTIS Zoomer evenings you can enjoy live music while having a picnic in the grass. There is also a children's route through Artis where they learn a lot about the animals and become more connected to nature. You can still explore the parks of Amsterdam together and reminisce about the fun day you had together. Amsterdam has a number of large parks. For example, Gaasperpark, Sloterpark and the Amsterdam forest are the largest. Vondelpark, Westerpark, Rembrandtpark and Oosterpark are four other well-known parks in Amsterdam that are also definitely worth a visit.
Hopefully you now have more inspiration to make the most of your day in Amsterdam. Don't forget to sunscreen the kids and above all, don't forget to enjoy them.

What's so great about music is that it is for young and old! I always find it special to see how newborn babies respond to songs that are sung to them or that sound from a music box. When they are a few months older, babies discover

A new and beautiful sunny day to babysit! I have been the Nanny of Faas for six months now, a sweet and mischievous 2-year-old boy. Since Faas loves animals and we visit the petting zoo on Lizzy Ansinghstraat every week, I thought it would be fun today to
