Becoming an Amsternanny is something I would recommend to everyone! And not just because I enjoy playing with children, but especially because I learn a lot from it. I personally babysit flexibly for different families, which I really enjoy! Besides the fact that it fits in so perfectly with my lessons, I learn to deal with every age and believe me, there is quite a difference here...
Every child also has her or his own interests and hobbies and I enjoy doing something with them! By adapting to this, I notice that the children themselves start to enjoy it more and so the time flies by. That's how I learned to skate for the first time a few weeks ago... An afternoon I won't forget haha!
In addition, it is fun to build a bond with them. They are often hesitant and shy the first time you pick them up from school, and a few weeks later they jump on your neck with joy to see you again! Building such a bond with a child can happen so quickly and I find that very nice to see :)
Finally, every family has their own norms and rules. I personally notice that by adhering to this, it provides a lot of clarity for the child, which is very important. Also for the upbringing and therefore also for the parents, because ultimately I also like to see them (in addition to the children) happy after I have babysat!
In short, babysitting at Amsternannies is fun, educational and ideal! It is nice and flexible, which suits every student and work life :)

Proud of this tough Amsternanny who is committed to children with congenital heart disease! "After an incredibly educational and special medical internship at Save a Child's Heart (SACH) in Israel, I became committed to SACH. That is why I am organizing a photo exhibition at Roest at SACH in the Netherlands on Wednesday, April 22.
