EIN-THE-BODY we can put on our swimwear again and take a wonderful dip! We have missed swimming again in our own country so much. For this reason, we have listed the nicest open-air swimming pools in Amsterdam for you so that we can all cool down.

Mirandabad

This swimming pool in Amsterdam South has an indoor and several outdoor pools. The 50-meter outdoor pool is closed this year because they are going to rebuild and make the pool more sustainable. The other outdoor pool, the Zeskant, is still open all summer. Mirandabad is a swimming pool for all ages. They have fun for the kids, relaxation for the parents, pregnancy swimming for expectant mothers, fitness swimming for the active ones among us and much more. Definitely interesting to take a look with the whole family!

Brediusbad

Bredius Swimming Pool is a heated outdoor swimming pool in Amsterdam West. The swimming pool is located in a quiet and green area on the Spaarndammerdijk. In addition to the two large outdoor pools, there is a small paddling pool for the little ones. The Brediusbad also has an hour where only women and girls are allowed to swim in the pool. Bredius has also taken into account people who enjoy swimming naked. On Tuesdays and Thursdays you can swim naked from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Flevoparkbad

This outdoor pool in Amsterdam East is a versatile and heated swimming pool. They have a large, deep 50-meter pool for sporty swimmers and a shallow pool with a play island for the children. There are plenty of seating areas around the pools with large sunbathing areas. And when the little ones have finished swimming, they can also use the playground equipment, sandboxes, air trampoline and other play activities.

Sloterparkbad

The Sloterparkbad is one of the largest swimming facilities in the Netherlands. They have a 50-meter competition pool, jumping pool, target group pool and a recreational pool. Of course they also have a gigantic outdoor area with several outdoor pools. For experienced swimmers, there is a 25 x 15 meter pool that is 1.40 meters deep. And for the little ones there is a super fun paddling pool. Because it is located on the Sloter Pass, there is also the opportunity to swim in this natural pool. And it is also fun for parents because there are many play elements available for the kids. So wonderfully relaxing!

Noorderparkbad

The last pool is the Noorderparkbad, which is located on the edge of the Noorderpark. The Noorderparkbad also has a versatile offering. Here you can swim laps, enjoy baby swimming with your baby or take swimming lessons for young and old. Finally, the Noorderparkbad has a bouncy castle, the best paddling pools with slides, a sandpit on the outside area and there has recently been a spray park with water jets for children up to 8 years old. Plenty to do, so there's no reason not to go!
