Vondeltuin is a wonderful place with a super nice terrace. The card has something for everyone and is completely sustainable. There is a playground with a slide and sandbox connected to the Vondeltuin! A super nice spot! In the Vondeltuin you can behave as you would in your own garden! Do what you feel like doing! The Gibraltar –  Haarlemmerweg 645a, 1055 PS Amsterdam

This tent has a large playground that is very unique and special. Gibraltar wants everyone to feel welcome and every child to be able to play together. It is an inclusive playground, with a wheelchair swing, wide slide and much more. The menu is nice and simple, and also affordable! A toasted sandwich for 3 euros, or a tasty bowl of vegetables with hummus for 3.50. Not complicated, but plenty of choice, The Gibraltar is a home for everyone! 

 

Grand Café Het Paviljoen – Van Beuningenplein 21, 1051 VS Amsterdam

Lunch, drinks or an extensive dinner, all of that is possible at the Pavilion. While you order a nice coffee (or drink), the kids can play on the slide or on the playground. Another plus: the terrace is on the roof: always a spot in the sun!

 

Dignita in the court garden – Nieuwe Herengracht 18a, 1018 DP Amsterdam

This beautiful café is located in the Hoftuin, behind The Hermitage. It is not noticeable that it is right in the center. In this restaurant you can escape the hustle and bustle by sitting outside on the terrace in the sun, or inside the spacious glass restaurant. There is a spacious children's play area for the children and plenty of space outside to romp around.

Jansz is located in the nine streets and has a nice menu, something for everyone. A nice thing about the restaurant is that Jansz Family Sundays take place every Sunday. The Sunday afternoon is completely dedicated to the kiddos. With a big play corner and a children's menu, there is a good chance that the children will be able to enjoy themselves all afternoon. Hangar North – Aambeeldstraat 36, 1021 KB Amsterdam

Hangar Noord has a large and perfect terrace on the water. There is also a city beach, with a closed area, so that the little ones cannot immediately run into the water.
