Baby

In this book you challenge your baby to look through a zigzag of shapes, to discover themselves in the mirror. It is a true labyrinth made of cardboard and full of see-through holes. The bright colors are attractive. In short: a book to discover with your eyes and your hands.

 

Guess How Much I Love You (0-6 years) – Author Sam McBratney

A loving story about Hazel and Big Hare. It is a beautiful picture book, with peaceful illustrations and of course the sweet, playful story. A nice book to read together with your child.

 

Toddlers and preschoolers

It is of course also good to read aloud for toddlers and preschoolers. By reading aloud, children come into contact with books and the pleasure of reading. Children will benefit greatly from this later when they start reading on their own.

Bobbi goes through a lot, and that's why there are so many stories with Bobbi! From baking a cake to going to the park, Bobbi does it all. There is a booklet for every age from infancy: “Bobbi, bye pacifier”, “Bobbi on the toilet”, “Bobbi on holiday”. They are nice stories, with beautiful colorful illustrations. Perfect for the children, and secretly for the parents, Bobbi's adventures are also great fun.

 

The most beautiful fish in the sea (2-8 years) – Author Marcus Pfister

An educational book about a fish who is very vain, but has no friends. Only when he gives away his scales does he slowly make friends. It is a beautiful story with cool illustrations. A fun book to read aloud with your children!

 

Caterpillar never enough (3-6 years) – Author Eric Carle

This is a sweet and fun book about a caterpillar that is always hungry, and at the end of the story it turns into a beautiful butterfly. It is a beautiful picture book and a very nice story for toddlers. Caterpillar is and remains a classic reading book. 

 

About a little mole who wants to know who pooped on his head (3-8 years) – Author Werner Holzwarth

Pick of the Petteflet (5- 8 years) – Author Annie MG Schmidt

A true classic, but not to be missed as a reading book. The story is rich in fantasy and that is why children can enjoy Pluk's adventures. Fiep Westendorp's illustrations are a wonderful addition to the story. In short, a wonderful story that both children and parents will enjoy.
