amsternannies is concerned with the well-being of children every day. We believe it is important that children grow up in a safe and loving environment. Unfortunately, this is not self-evident in the Netherlands either.

In the Netherlands, between 30,000 and 35,000 children stay in childcare locations every year. Forgotten children, who live in harsh conditions, have been rejected, have fled and are growing up in a place with minimal play opportunities and trauma guidance. This is not how a child's life should be! The 'The Forgotten Child' Foundation believes that these children deserve the same opportunities as a child growing up at home and that is why they are committed to improving the well-being of these children.

The successful foundation was founded in 2007 by Dinand Woesthoff. Dinand is the husband of Guusje Nederhorst, who died in 2004, who had a great love for children and animals. Dinand set up the foundation in memory of his wife, who died much too early. The foundation has helped more than 12,700 children feel like children again by organizing fun activities and events or providing them with better living or playing facilities.

Since Amsternannies is involved in the lives of children every day, we would like to contribute to this foundation. Starting this week, we will therefore participate in the activation campaign 'The Week of the Forgotten Child'. We cannot reveal exactly what we are going to do until the broadcast of RTL Late Night on January 18, but the ultimate goal is to give all children a good home, with a heart full of love and hope.

Love,

Amsternannies!

A new and beautiful sunny day to babysit! I have been the Nanny of Faas for six months now, a sweet and mischievous 2-year-old boy. Since Faas loves animals and we visit the petting zoo on Lizzy Ansinghstraat every week, I thought it would be fun today to
