aAll children love sweets. And don't blame them! It is up to the parents and Nannies to do this in a fun and responsible way. Especially on cold and rainy days, it is fun and educational to bake together. And then of course enjoy it with a cup of tea! See the recipe for healthy and delicious oatmeal cookies below.
Oatmeal cookies for kids
100 grams of oatmeal
1 banana and/or apple
5 normal dates
1 tsp gingerbread spices
1 handful of walnuts
Preparation method
1) Preheat the oven (convection) to 180 degrees.
2) Place the oat flakes, banana (possibly also apple pieces) and gingerbread spices in a mixing bowl and beat until it forms a kind of dough.
3) Finely chop the dates and stir them into the dough. It is fun to let the children do this too.
4) Place baking paper on the baking tray and make small rounds from the dough and flatten them like cookies. It is best to use two spoons for this.
5) The cookies need to be in the oven for 12 minutes.
6) Let the cookies cool outside the oven. Grab some lukewarm tea for the kids, put on some music and enjoy!
