OHaving breakfast with this healthy cake is a party! What more could you want on a Saturday morning?!

See the recipe for the delicious breakfast cake below.

One takes:

(for 1 cake):

225 g oat flakes

95 g hazelnuts

6 tbsp honey

100 g butter

250 ml cottage cheese

250 g strawberries (and possibly other red fruit!)

And this is how you do it:

–Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.

–Put 150 grams of oat flakes in the bowl of a food processor and grind finely into flour.

–Chop the hazelnuts into coarse pieces.

–Put the flour together with the nuts, the remaining oat flakes and 4 tablespoons of honey in a bowl and add the butter that you cut into pieces.

–Knead this into a dough ball.

–Cover a 26 centimeter springform pan with baking paper and press the dough over the bottom. Make sure the entire bottom is covered and rises 1 centimeter at the edges.

–Place the pie crust in the oven and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

–Remove from the oven and let cool briefly.

–Then spread the curds over the base, sprinkle the remaining 2 tablespoons of honey over the curds, cut the strawberries into slices and place on the curds. Good morning!
