There are many cozy and cool places in Amsterdam where you can enjoy the nice weather with your (babysitter) children. Apply factor 50 to the children, make sure they drink enough and don't forget the swim diapers!

Rust is a wonderful place on the water where children can play in the sand. In the kitchen bus you can put together different snacks or meals that you can eat at the picnic tables outside.

DOK Amsterdam is a new hotspot near the Houthavens. DOK Amsterdam is the perfect place for children to play in the sand and there are swimming pools. Fun activities are regularly organized for children, such as a games afternoon. You can find the agenda on their website.

Blijburg aan Zee
Klein Blijburg is a cozy, temporary place. Klein Blijburg has a lovely beach where you can get an ice cream and play in the sand. On warm days you can also swim there and there are lots of friends to play with.

La Tete is a cozy stall with many tables and play options for children. They regularly organize games afternoons or other fun activities! Keep an eye on the Facebook page for the agenda.

In addition to the above city beaches, there are numerous parks in Amsterdam that are the ideal place for children in this warm weather.
The Beatrixpark and Vondelpark have a paddling pool, a playground and lawns for picnics. Both pools open at a temperature above 20 degrees.
The Oosterpark has a large playground and a play pond; a fantastic place for children! Finally it is Amsterdam forest always recommended when the weather is nice; there are several children's pools and of course the goat farm.
