Nina & Elise: 'French toast is always delicious. You know what makes them even tastier? If you make them in a cupcake pan. Then they're just like cakes!'

One takes:

(for about 12 muffins):

10 slices of bread of your choice

2 eggs

275 ml milk of your choice

9 tbsp honey

1 tsp cinnamon powder

And this is how you do it:

–Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

–Cut the bread into small cubes.

– Beat the eggs, milk, 8 tablespoons of honey and the cinnamon powder together in a mixing bowl.

–Add the bread and mix well, so that all bread pieces are well soaked.

–Spread the bread mixture over a greased muffin tin and press down a little.

–Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.

–Serve the muffins warm with the remaining honey. Store them in an airtight container for up to two days.

A delicious Friday afternoon snack to make with the children!
