Why did you start babysitting at Amsternannies?

I started babysitting because I really enjoy the fun that children bring. Be crazy and enjoy the moment without shame!

What makes you laugh while babysitting?

Children in general make me laugh a lot, but the pure honesty, which is sometimes a little too honest, of children is often the nicest of all. They also often show what they can and have learned. Seeing how proud they are of these victories is really beautiful and often makes me laugh!

What do you like so much about babysitting?

There are a number of things I really enjoy about babysitting, of course the children and the fun they bring. Wonderful to make every day cozy but also adventurous for the child. But helping the parents by cooking and leaving the house tidy also makes the day complete for me.

What is it like to babysit in the city of Amsterdam?

Babysitting in Amsterdam is a lot of fun. Amsterdam is relatively large, but you can easily go everywhere by bike and the city is very varied. There is a lot to do and experience here. Really delicious!

What makes babysitting the ideal part-time job for you besides your studies?

Babysitting is the ideal part-time job next to your studies because it is flexible, you can study while the children are sleeping. The hours vary from full days to a few hours a day, which I also really like.

Why did you start babysitting at Amsternannies?

I already had a lot of babysitting experience but wanted to build a bond with permanent families. Through Amsternannies I had the opportunity to babysit for super nice families.

What do you like about babysitting through Amsternannies?

I like that there are always nice babysitting requests available if you have time to babysit yourself, this gives you a lot of freedom.

What activities or games do you like to do with children, and how do you keep them interested?

My favorite activity is discovering all the playgrounds in Amsterdam with the children. Also, baking cookies on a rainy day is always a good idea :)

What makes babysitting the ideal part-time job next to your studies?

It is the ideal part-time job because you often have time left after college to babysit. You can of course also babysit during the weekend or during the evenings. It is very nice that you can schedule your own babysitting times.

What makes you laugh while babysitting?

I really enjoy babysitting because children are really funny. For example, my nanny recently asked: “What is a fly without wings called?” “A run.” This really made me laugh out loud haha.

What activities or games do you like to do with children to keep them busy and interested?

When the weather is nice, I like to get an ice cream with the children or play together in the garden or park.

What is it like to babysit in the city of Amsterdam?

The great thing about babysitting in Amsterdam is that you can do a lot with the children and you can get everywhere very quickly. There are so many great options to make babysitting as fun as possible in Amsterdam.

What makes babysitting the ideal part-time job next to your studies?

It is very nice that you quickly find a match with a family and that requests are always available. So you could actually work as much as you want. This can therefore be combined very well with your studies.
